ライブドア・ブログデータのバックアップ方法

今回のライブドア事件がきっかけで、livedoor Blog サービスを利用して記録してきたテキストや画像データの保存方法が分からずに不安を抱いているユーザーが意外にも多く存在する事を知り、本来は英語版のページであるここ「セキュリティ」にそのデータバックアップ方法を掲載する事にしました。

ライブドア・ブログに記録してきたテキストや画像データを自分の手元メディアに保存したり、他のブログサービスへテキストデータを移行するためには、まず Livedoor Blog PRO の有料サービスを利用しなければなりません。

その際に利用料金月額262円(税込)は、Livedoor ウォレットサービスを通じての支払いとなり、クレジットカード登録が必要になりますが、1週間のお試し利用期間中にサービス利用のキャンセルが可能です。キャンセルは、管理画面内の「サービス利用状況」から Livedoor ウォレット認証キーを入力して行います。

Livedoor Blog PRO へのアップグレードが完了したら、次の方法でデータ移管が可能になります。

1.インポート/エクスポート
ライブドアのブログは Movable Type と呼ばれる形式で作成されています。同じ形式のブログどうし(*)なら import/export 機能を使う事でデータの移行は簡単に行えます。ただし、エクスポートの対象は投稿、コメント、トラックバックの各種データで、画像やプラグインなどはエクスポートされません。

2.FTP (File Transfer Protocol) アクセス
FFFTP のような FTPクライアントソフトを利用する事で、ブログに蓄積されたデータとの直接やりとりが出来ます。オンラインでしたら窓の杜からダウンロード出来ますし、インターネット関連雑誌の付録CDには他のFTPクライアントソフトが紹介されています。自分が使いやすそうなソフトを選んで利用して下さい。このFTPソフトを利用する事で、コメント編集画面は勿論のことオリジナルサイズの画像と同時にサムネイル画像さえもバックアップが可能になります。個人的にはこの手法でブログデータのバックアップをとっています。

3-1. log2mt
Movable Type形式に対応する複数のブログ記事を抽出できるこの無料ソフトを利用すると、ブログのURLを指定してデータのエクスポートが出来ます。

3-2. ubicast Blogger for Movable Type
今回の件で偶然に、ubicast Blogger がパワーアップして2006年1月20日にリリースされた事を知りました。私はこの無料版を使っていた時期があります。コメントと画像の編集が容易で、PCや他のブログへのバックアップも簡単に出来る使い勝手のよいソフトでしたので。ただ無料版ゆえの多少の制限が障害となって使わなくなりましたが、この有料版は個人的に興味をもっているブログ編集用ソフトのひとつです。
